Cold * Snowy * Icy * Wet * Urban * Reflective * Stimulating * Awakening * Noisy
Slippery * Slushy * Surprisingly Sunny (the day we flew out!)
Need I say more?
I have great admiration for those who live and work in these cold climates on a full-time basis — not easy! I recently traveled to New York with my husband for a business trip and had the "opportunity" to experience winter there, firsthand. We ended up getting snowbound and spent a day of forced relaxation which turned out to be delightful. These are a few interpretations of my time while there.
RISE
FLY!
EXTENDS BEYOND
Do we shape the world or does the world shape us? No doubt, the elements of this complex world influence and shape our beliefs and ideas from the moment we are born. Yet, I believe we each have the ability to transform ourselves in ways that extends beyond our initial conditioning. We begin by asking ourselves questions that challenge what we were taught and open ourselves to the intuitive wisdom inside.
My views were inspired by a film that I found to be very thought provoking. I encourage you to check it out. I think it will move you to ask more questions about life — questions that might lead to answers and actions that could make our world and ourselves, all the more beautiful.
