Sagie, Our Mexican Street Dog
We adopted Sage from Doggie Protective Services rescue in July, 2020, when she was approximately eight months old. We want to thank all those individuals that safely helped her along the way and contributed to making her as healthy and emotionally stable as possible.
This is her story and ours too. We hope that by sharing this, it might help those that find themselves with a shy or withdrawn street dog. I can personally say, it is challenging and frustrating at times but your efforts will be so rewarded. The first bark, the first time they wag their tail and the many times they come running to you, makes it so worthwhile!
