A BRIEF VISIT
Too brief, but what a wonderful trip! I accompanied my husband, Bob, on business. We stayed mostly in the cities, Osaka and Tokyo and had one day in Kyoto. It was in these places that we experienced the ancient and beautiful culture of a very gentle people.
Not surprisingly, I sought nature on the busiest of streets of Tokyo, and it was found. I discovered many long paths that led to ever-so-quiet sanctuaries and shrines. Parks were abundant and even the high rise buildings held their own mystic at certain times of the day.
Here is a eclectic collection of my brief time in Japan. I hope to someday return to visit the special friends that were made and the countryside that was missed.
