THERE IS LIGHT!

President Joe Biden & Vice President Kamala Harris - thank you!
The lively discussion was all about their individual techniques of creating abstract art. Thinking of taking a few lessons from them.

There is an art to floating just a few feet above the waves of life. And that art is definitely, a work in progress for me. This past year was a difficult one as it was for most of us. My goal this year is to try to keep a healthy perspective - flyin
Happy New Year, everyone.
May we soar beyond stormy skies in this new year of our lives.
My thoughts while visiting a favorite pond during the early days of Covid-19…

There is complete silence with the exception of an occasional caw of the crow and a squawk from a scrub jay. No overhead planes, no motors, no man made noise - the
The sparkling Universe spoke her most vivid speech...fall into the darkness and experience all your light. .

Happy New Year everyone!
With feathers dipped in ink, you wrote messages across the cold, gray sky…”Gather the twigs, build a nest and birth your life anew.”
Like a spring bride, you arrive veiled in beauty—enough to take my breath away. *** This is for all of you who are experiencing frigid weather - hope this brings some warmth inside!

The last morning of our trip, we hiked in Wawona in Yosemite. We were out at dawn and had the excitement of watching two Great Gray Owls going for their morning hunt. I tracked them for about an hour when finally, it was time to head home. As we left
Made it to Yosemite on our way home, stopping at Bridalveil Fall. Even though it was not heavily flowing, it still held that mysterious wonder that most waterfalls possess.
Eastern Sierra Fall Foliage. So rhythmical, as if it was still in motion. I could have spent the entire trip photographing the weeds alone.
We made the traditional trek to Mono Lake. The fall foliage alone, was worth it.
Shore of Parker Lake. We had hoped for lots of autumn color but had missed the peak. Instead, enjoyed quiet trails and found just enough color to get me excited!
Parker Lake was our first hike in the Eastern Sierra. We went before dawn in 19 degree weather - chilly but worth it! Such a gorgeous, tranquil place.
The open space of the Eastern Sierra felt expansive and breathtaking. The silence of it all, so very peaceful...
Got lucky the first day of our trip to the Eastern Sierra. Was getting out of my car to photograph some autumn color when this California Black Bear cub walked right in front of me in the street. Making eye contact with this beautiful creature was ex
Had a wonderful time in Eastern Sierra recently with my husband, Bob. Beautiful vistas and wildlife everywhere! This easy morning hike was at Convict Lake. Walked around it at a snail’s pace, attempting to capture all the mesmerizing reflection
Deep in the woods the call croaked and the raven quaked, “Quickly, partake in the feast!” ~~ Over and over, I am reminded, LIVE life to the fullest, NOW.
